Environmental Testing
We offer this program specialty area under our internationally-recognized Testing and Calibration Laboratories Accreditation Program, which is based on ISO/IEC 17025, the international standard for testing and calibration laboratories. The management system requirements in this standard meet the principles of, and are aligned with ISO 9001, the most widely used quality management system standard.
The program formally recognizes the competence of laboratories providing a range of testing services, including providing a range of testing services, encompassing biological, chemical, physical and toxicological characteristics measurements. These services extend to analyzing environmental surroundings – such as air, water, soil, flora and fauna – and waste samples – including gaseous, liquid, and solid forms.
SCC accreditation serves as a cornerstone for testing laboratories, instilling confidence in their service delivery and fostering customer trust. By securing independent, third-party, and credible test results, laboratories strengthen their industry reputation. Accreditation is widely recognized as a reliable indicator of technical competence, prompting industries to routinely seek accreditation for their laboratory service providers.
We are signatories to the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) for this program programs. This means that testing by SCC-accredited laboratories is widely accepted internationally.
