All references to the SCC Requirements & Guidance on the Use of Information Technology in Accredited Laboratories (RG Use of IT) should be removed from use.

Background

As part of its regular continual improvement and document review policies, SCC has determined that the SCC Requirements & Guidance on the Use of Information Technology in Accredited Laboratories is no longer relevant, as the normative references are out of date due to the publication of ISO/IEC 17025:2017, as well as changes to technology that have been introduced since SCC first published this document. As such, SCC has determined to withdraw the document from use.

 

The document will be withdrawn effective October 1st, 2020. During this transition period, SCC will review and update all documentation to remove references to RG Use of IT.
