Josée Doucet
Josée first became involved with the GLP in 2001 as a principal investigator in charge of the analytical phase of a GLP study in Health Canada’s Toxicology Research Division. She performed her first GLP inspection in 2002 (joint US-FDA/Canada inspection) and continued as an active GLP inspector with the Standards Council of Canada for several years, where later she was appointed Canadian GLP coordinator and represented Canada at the OECD GLP working group. Josée is a passionate trainer and has trained SCC’s GLP inspectors for many years.

Gillian Koh
Gillian, MSc, is a lead assessor with SCC in the management systems and certification body accreditation programs. She has been working in the certification and accreditation field since 2008, as a certification body auditor, technical expert, consultant, and accreditation assessor. She has experience conducting certification scheme trainings and audits in various parts of the world. Gillian sits on various technical committees for standards development.
Jean-Marc Guillemette
Jean-Marc is a learning and development geek who has dedicated his career to workplace learning. He has designed, developed and delivered learning activities ranging from instructional techniques to sonar operation. He has worked internationally with a variety of organizations to develop strategies, create effective learning solutions and provide guidance to learning and development practitioners. As an adult learner, Jean-Marc completed a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology and a PhD. in Educational Technology.

Nelson Lee
Nelson has been a GHG verifier since 2008 and has verified over 400 report and offset projects across Canada and internationally. He is Vice Chair of Canada’s ISO TC207/SC7 GHG and climate change standard development group since 2013. During that time, he was a working group expert on ISO 14064-1:2018 and commented on the development of related GHG standards including ISO 14064-2:2019; ISO 14064-3:2019, ISO 14065:2020, ISO 14066 (in progress) and ISO 17029:2019.
Michael Ouellette
Mike has over 40 years of experience in laboratory testing, research, calibration, planning, management and support for certification. For nearly 30 of these years, he assisted SCC in such capacities as assessor, lead assessor, instructor, advisor and lead peer evaluator. He published over 75 papers and received numerous awards. His publication on measurement uncertainty was awarded best paper of the year by the National Conference of Standards Laboratories International. Mike is distinguished as a Fellow of the Illuminating Engineering Society, one of the Society’s highest honours for sustained research contributions of seminal value.

Nicole Paulun
Nicole Paulun has over 20 years of experience in learning and development and works at SCC as a team lead in this area. She designs and creates classroom and eLearning training programs for customers and SCC staff. Her experience includes developing training for high-tech firms, government organizations and she has delivered training across the globe. She is also an Integral Master Coach™.

Robert Volkman
Robert is a process architect and management consultant in the areas of conformity assessment and management systems. He has over 35 years of experience across various industries. Engagements include working with federal and provincial governments, industry, and First Nations organizations throughout North America and internationally with involvement in oil and gas, hydro-electric, run-of-the-river and forestry sectors. He is a lead assessor for several SCC accreditation programs including validation/verification bodies, management systems and product, process and service certification bodies. He is an active member and former chair of the Canadian mirror committee for greenhouse gas and climate change management representing Canada in the development of international GHG standards with ISO, including ISO 14065:2020.
