Forestry Management Systems – American Tree Farm System
We are the only internationally recognized accreditation body in Canada offering American Tree Farm System accreditation. As a pre-requisite, certification bodies must also be accredited to the following international standards: ISO/IEC 17021-1 for providing management systems audit and certification, and ISO 17021-2 for providing environmental management systems audit and certification.
Organizations implementing the ATFS Standards of Sustainability often turn to SCC-accredited certification bodies for third-party oversight. Reasons include procurement eligibility requirements, regulatory compliance and competitive differentiation.
