Verified Carbon Standard
We are the only accreditation body in Canada offering Vera’s Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) Sub-program.
It is the most widely used greenhouse gas (GHG) crediting program. It drives finance toward activities that reduce and remove emissions, improve livelihoods and protect nature. Many buyers select credits issued by Verra’s VCS Program to feel confident that their purchase had its intended effect.
As a pre-requisite, verification bodies must be accredited to the Verification and Validation Accreditation Program, which is based on ISO/IEC 17029, ISO 14065 and ISO 14066.
