Artificial Intelligence Management Systems
We are the only accreditation body in Canada offering Artificial Intelligence Management Systems accreditation, based on ISO/IEC 42001, the world’s first AI management system standard. As a pre-requisite, certification bodies must also be accredited to ISO/IEC 17021-1.
Organizations implementing ISO/IEC 42001 often turn to SCC-accredited certification bodies for third-party oversight. This certification demonstrates a commitment to the responsible and effective use of artificial intelligence, addressing critical challenges such as ethical considerations, transparency and risk management. The ISO/IEC 42001 standard is applicable to organizations of any size and industry and can be easily integrated with other management system standards, such as ISO 9001, due to its common structure.
An AI management system provides a framework for managing risks and opportunities related to AI while ensuring transparency and trust. It supports organizations in balancing innovation with governance, enabling sustainable growth and compliance with regulatory requirements.
