Scope The requirements of this certification document concern the materials and concrete properties; fabrication (including placing, finishing, and curing); as well as the methods related to the handling, transportation, and installation of, and repairs to the precast concrete elements. The quality management system elements that shall be implemented within the manufacturer’s operations are also included. The design of precast concrete elements is excluded from this certification program. Only the activities under the responsibility of the manufacturer are subject to inspection as part of this certification program. Notwithstanding the above, and in the context of this certification program, no inspection visit will be carried out on site to verify conformity of the operations, even if these operations are under the manufacturer’s responsibility.
