This National Standard of Canada is equivalent to International Standard ISO/IEC 15693-1:2000. 1 Scope This part of ISO/IEC 15693 specifies the physical characteristics of vicinity cards (VICC). It applies to identification cards of the card type ID-1 operating in vicinity of a coupling device. This part of ISO/IEC 15693 shall be used in conjunction with later parts of ISO/IEC 15693.
