This National Standard of Canada is equivalent to International Standard ISO/IEC 14364:1996. 1.1 Scope This International Standard defines an ISO/IEC 9989 {1}¹ C language binding to the language-independent API defined in ISO/IEC 14360 {2} (¹The numbers in curly brackets correspond to those of the references in 1.2.). It is intended to support application portability at the source-code level and to be used by application developers, system implementors, test method writers, and users.
