1. Scope 1.1 This standard applies to a flat latex finish for all types of interior walls and ceilings either new or previously painted. 1.2 Paint complying with this standard is intended for use on walls and ceilings with the exception of bathrooms and kitchens. It is suitable for application over practically any type of wall surface, including wallboard, gypsum board, dry plaster, cement, brick or concrete block. 1.3 The testing and evaluation of a product against this standard may require the use of materials and/or equipment that could be hazardous.
