Methods of Testing Petroleum and Associated Products Sulphur in Diesel Fuel by Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometry (EDXRF)
1. Scope 1.1 This test method covers the determination of total sulphur concentrations in diesel fuel in the range from 0.010 to 0.500% mass, using energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry. 1.2 The testing and evaluation of a product against this method may require the use of materials and/or equipment that could be hazardous. This document does not purport to address all of the safety aspects associated with its use.
