This standard applies to rigid cellular glass thermal insulation for use on surfaces having a temperature range of -270 to +425 degrees C in buildings, on tanks, pipes, tubing and equipment (Note 1). Note 1: Materials covered by this standard may contain a controlled substance under the Controlled Products Regulations (par. 2.1.2).
