Scope 1.1 This Standard applies to household dishwashing machines, both cord-connected and permanently connected, designed to be used in nonhazardous locations in accordance with the Rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I, on circuits having a nominal voltage not exceeding 250 V. Note: For convenience only, the shorter terms "dishwashers" and "machines" are used herein. 1.2 This Standard does not apply to commercial dishwashing machines.
