Textile Test Methods Formaldehyde in Textiles - Part 1: Method for Determination of Total Formaldehyde

This National Standard of Canada is equivalent to British Standards Institution standard BS 6806:Part 1:1987. This Part of BS 6806 describes a method for determining the total amount of available formaldehyde in textiles which have been chemically finished. This procedure may be applied to any textile product containing a formaldehyde based precursor.
