Applies to indoor open and enclosed and outdoor enclosed assemblies of switchgear devices such as switches, interrupting devices, air circuit breakers, power circuit breakers, and control, metering, protective, and regulating equipment with associated interconnections and supporting structures, in nominal voltages of 46 kV and less, intended to be used in accordance with the Rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I, in nonhazardous locations, for controlling and protecting the power from generators or other sources and supplying electrical energy to power and lighting circuits.
