Covers backflow preventers of the dual check valve type (with intermediate vent) in nominal pipe sizes of 1/4 and 3/8 only. They are designed to be used on low to moderate hazard connections. These devices are suitable for use under continuous or intermittent pressure and are designed to be used on individual outlets or appliances with flow rates of 0.25 L/s (3.3 CGPM) or less. Inlet or outlet connections or both may be other than NPS-1/4 and 3/8 when so required for special installations.
