1. SCOPE 1.1 This Special Publication offers a condensed presentation of concepts involved in the sampling of materials and manufactured products. It also presents: (a) Some common procedures for acceptance sampling of products; (b) Some statistical procedures for control of processes; (c) A limited discussion of estimate sampling with illustrations of application in some simple sets of circumstances; (d) An introductory discussion of bulk sampling.
