Specifies a system of devices, the use of which ensures that anaesthetic vaporizers can be filled only with the intended liquid anaesthetic agent. The specifications consist of essential requirements for the configurations and dimensions of the system's components. Keyed filling devices including vaporizer receptacles, liquid anaesthetic agent containers, and inter- connecting adaptors intended for use with anaesthetic agents in common use are described in this document. This standard does not specify materials in contact with anaesthetic agents in order to prevent the contamination of such agents.
