1. Scope
1.1 This Standard covers mineral fibre insulations supplied in the form of
batts, blankets, boards, sheets with or without membranes, and loose fill used
in building envelopes.
1.2 This Standard defines the types and specifies the methods for determination
of thermal resistance, dimensions, and coverage values stated by the
manufacturer.
1.3 This Standard does not apply to insulation less than 25 mm in thickness.
1.4 This Standard does not apply to preformed insulation used above roof deck.
