Note: An additional comment period of Ausgust 13 to September 4, 2019 has been applied to ANSI/CAN/UL 3600, as the standard was in the initial stages of development for more than 12 months. The standard will establish circular economy metrics and reporting requirements for products, sites and organizations which can be used to communicate and track their performance.

Project Need
To assist consumers or other purchasers in identifying environmentally preferable (circular) products or services and companies wishing to promote such services or products. Today the circular economy is a concept which is communicated inconsistently. The standard will establish circular economy metrics and reporting requirements for products, sites and organizations which can be used to communicate and track their performance.
