Standard for Fixed Condensed Aerosol Extinguishing System Units
Scope:
The standard does not currently provide requirements to address extinguishing system units intended to protect volumes less than 100 m3.
This proposal allows for the design quantity of extinguishing agent to be the same for Class A and Class B hazards, when the volume limitation referenced in the manual is less than 100 m3 and provides requirements for evaluation of these limitations without changing the requirements for evaluation of volumes greater than or equal to 100 m3.
