1 Scope

1.1 These requirements apply to companies involved in the installing, recharging, maintenance, repair, inspection and decommissioning of commercial cooking area extinguishing systems and equipment.

1.2 These requirements apply to the servicing of wet chemical and dry chemical systems.

1.3 These requirements do not apply to the servicing of portable fire extinguishers. The servicing of Portable Fire Extinguishers is covered in CAN/ULC S532-07-R2019, Standard for the Regulation of the Servicing of Portable Fire Extinguishers.
