Standard for Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) Panels
Scope:
SCOPE These requirements apply to organic lighting emitting diode (OLED) panels intended for portable or permanent installation in accordance with the CSA C22.1, Canadian Electrical Code, Part I, Safety Standard for Electrical Installations, and for connection to isolated (non-utility connected) power sources such as generators, batteries, fuel cells, solar cells, and the like. The OLED panels covered by this Standard are intended to be installed in dry or damp locations only, in one or more of the following configurations: a) Secured directly to the walls or ceiling of a structure b) Integrated into a mechanical frame or structure that is in turn mounted or secured to the walls or ceiling of a structure (for example, a luminaire or sign) c) Integrated into a mechanical frame or structure that is portable and able to be relocated without special tools or skills (for example, a portable luminaire).
