Project need:

Project Need
This proposal is to develop a new test standard which evaluates the testing of sprinklered window assemblies when exposed under fire conditions. There is increased demand for the use of glazing assemblies in fire separations and in the building envelope. Sprinkler protected windows are being used as an alternative (equivalent) solution to meet code requirements with respect to fire separations.
