Taking UL 1349 and harmonizing it with ULC/ORD-C1349–13 would allow for consolidation and consistency between American and Canadian requirements and meet the demands of the SCC and ANSI. The new/revised requirements of this standard are intended to meet current Codes and provide a simple Dual Certification path for the same products in a single test program.
