Scope:

1 SCOPE


1.1 This Standard sets forth requirements for flexible underground hose connectors intended for flammable and combustible liquid service at temperatures within the range of -40 °C to +50 °C.


1.2 This Standard also sets forth additional requirements for flexible underground hose connectors intended for flammable and combustible liquid service at temperatures within the range of -54 °C to +50 °C.


1.3 Requirements for the installation and use of equipment handling flammable and combustible liquids are included in the following documents:

A     National Fire Code of Canada;

B     CSA B139, Installation code for oil-burning equipment; and

C     Regulations of the Authority Having Jurisdiction.
