Standard for 540 ˚C and 750˚ C Industrial Chimneys
Scope:
The products covered by this Standard are factory-built chimneys intended for use with large oil, gas, or solid-fuel-burning, building heating appliances, certain process equipment and/or stationary internal combustion engines, all producing flue-gas temperatures not exceeding either 540˚C or 760˚C. These chimneys are intended to be installed unenclosed or enclosed in a non-combustible enclosure, in the interior or on the exterior of buildings. Where penetration of a fire separation is required, the chimneys are to be enclosed in a non-combustible enclosure of equivalent fire rating.
