Scope:

The Standard covers electrically operated single and multiple carbon monoxide (CO) alarms for protection in unconditioned indoor locations.

Project need:

Public safety will be enhanced for protection from CO in occupancies beyond residential (i.e. assembly, detention, care and treatment, care, business and personal services, mercantile, industrial).
