1.1 These requirements cover low profile nylon isolating bushings with internal and

external threads and component thread sealant which are intended for use in the external

corrosion protection of underground steel tanks which have been installed in accordance with

requirements contained in the standard for External Corrosion Protection Systems for Steel

Underground Tanks for Flammable and Combustible Liquids, CAN/ULC-S603.1.

**Please refer to the posting on CAN/ULC-S603.1; During the Preliminary review of ULC-S618 and ULC-S631, the ULC Standards Committee on Stationary Steel Storage Containers for Flammable and Combustible Liquids has decided to integrate both standards into CAN/ULC-S603.1. Therefore, ULC-S618 and ULC-S631 will be superseded by CAN/ULC-S603.1, once the new edition is published.
