Health Effects Evaluation Criteria for Chemicals in Drinking Water
Scope:
This standard defines the toxicological review and evaluation procedures for the evaluation of substances imparted to drinking water through contact with drinking water system components and additives. It is intended to establish the human health risk, if any, of the substances imparted to drinking water under the anticipated use conditions of the product. This standard also includes the consensus USEPA and Health Canada drinking water criteria for contaminants evaluated by these two agencies.
