Scope:

This standard covers materials, chemicals, components, products, equipment and systems, related to
public and residential recreational water facility operation.

Project need:

The development of NSF/ANSI/CAN 50 as a NSC will further its acceptance in the Canadian marketplace and serve as a benchmark for health effects and safety from products and chemicals that are used in residential and commercial pools, spas and recreational water facilities.
