This standard applies to an individual who is responsible for installation, of water treatment equipment. The purpose of this standard is to provide minimum performance criteria, identified by industry consensus, for Water Treatment Equipment Installers.

To develop a new Joint Canada-U.S. National Standard for Professional Qualifications Standard for Water Treatment Equipment Personnel. There are no existing Canadian Standard that cover professional qualifications for water treatment devices installation.
