There is increasing concern for the quality of water from all sources including well water. There are devices in the marketplace to address these concerns. However, there are no standards to validate any claims or ensure a minimum water quality. Currently standards for these devices in Canada do not exist. This standard meets the needs of stakeholders: Architects, Plumbing contractors, Codes officials, Manufacturers, plumbing installers, plumbing engineers and specifiers.
