This Standard covers elastomeric test caps, cleanout caps, and combination test caps/shielded couplings, and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings.
Project need:
Project Need
This will be the National standard superseding the approved IAPMO ORD – PS 90. There currently are no standard which cover these elastomeric test caps. Note: CSA B602 only covers coupling. This standard meets the needs of stakeholders: Plumbing engineers, plumbing and construction contractors, regulatory authorities, plumbers, manufacturers.
