Note: The title and scope for this NOI (originally published December 14, 2021) was updated by the responsible SDO on January 11, 2022. This standard applies to the airgaps used on the potable water supply and drain connected to commercial and residential dishwashing machines.

Project need:

To develop a new Joint Canada-U.S. National Standard for Backflow Prevention Requirements for Commercial Dishwashing Machines to be used for testing and certification purposes by manufacturers, users, and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
