Note: This NOI was been withdrawn by the SDO responsible on June 22, 2020. HSO's Home Care and Support Services Standard is a combined approach to what used to be the Home Care and Home Support standards. The standard will speak to both clinical and non-clinical care that is delivered in the home. The standard will focus on the delivery of care from the first point of contact with clients/families to the point they are transitioned out of the organization’s service.

Project need:

The standard is being developed to provide home care organizations with guidance on how to ensure quality and safety within their unique context. The primary objective of this project is to ensure that the standards are relevant and reflective of priority areas in the home care sector, including the coordination of care.
