This proposed standard is the second project in a series of standards on workplace first aid in Canada. Based on recommendations from
stakeholders and support from governmental agencies responsible for occupational health and safety in Canada, CSA Group is proceeding to develop a standard which will set out the requirements for the contents of workplace first aid kits in Canada. The national standard will set national requirements for the contents as part of efforts to harmonize current provincial and territorial requirements.
