Wood Preservation
Scope:
The scope of the O80 Series of Standards is as follows:
• to help specifiers identify appropriate requirements for specific wood products and end use environments;
• to provide minimum requirements for treatment of wood products covered by the CSA O80 Series of Standards, including conditioning for treatment, treatment processes and limitations, end results of treatment, post-treatment handling, and quality control; and
• to provide preservative formulation requirements where not otherwise specified, as well as requirements for preparation and use of CCA preservative combinations for utility poles
