This document specifies procedures and test methods used to demonstrate the cleaning efficacy of

washer-disinfectors (WD) and their accessories intended to be used for cleaning of reusable medical

devices.

Project need:

Project Need
To maintain alignment with ISO international requirements (new ISO edition adoption). This proposed adoption of New Edition is being developed at the request of the Technical Committee on Medical Device Reprocessing (Z262). It will provide the industry with the latest international requirements on washer-disinfectors.
