This standard applies to cord connected and direct plug-in transformers* for use indoors, designed to be used on a nominal 120-V branch circuit in nonhazardous locations in accordance with the Rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part 1, and intended to supply power for the operation of extra-low voltage toys or hobby equipment.
