Scope: This standard details the construction and performance requirements for temperature compensation devices used to allow compressed natural gas (CNG) dispensing systems to adjust for full fill of vehicle fuel storage containers under all surrounding outdoor ambient temperature conditions. These devices also prevent over-pressurization of vehicle fuel containers when the vehicle is fueled while in a cold environment and parked in a warm environment.
