Scope:

1.1 These requirements cover controlled outlets, locking and non-locking configurations for permanent branch circuit installation, rated up to and including 600 V, used in ordinary locations in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code, CE Code Part I.

1.2 These requirements also cover outlets that may be installed in wet or damp category 2 locations when fitted with self-closing weather proof covers.

1.3 These requirements also cover controlled tamper resistant and weather resistant outlets.
