Supplemental requirements for extra heavy wall (XW) reinforced thermosetting resin conduit (RTRC) and fittings
Scope:
.1 Objective
1.1.1
This Standard contains requirements for reinforced thermosetting resin conduit (RTRC) of the extra heavy wall type (XW) in trade sizes 3/4-6 (metric designators 21-155).
1.1.2
Products covered by this Standard are intended to be installed in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I and General Requirements - Canadian Electrical Code, Part II, CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 0.
1.1.3
The requirements in this Standard supplement the requirements contained in CSA C22.2 No. 2515.
1.2 Terminology
In this Standard "shall" is used to express a requirement, i.e., a provision that the user is obliged to satisfy in order to comply with the standard; "should" is used to express a recommendation or that which is advised but not required; and "may" is used to express an option or that which is permissible within the limits of the standard.
