Solid Dielectric Switchgear
Scope:
The scope of this standards includes the use of solid dielectric material insulating switchgear and switchgear devices such as switches, interrupting devices (including reclosers), circuit breakers, and control, metering, protective, and regulating equipment with associated interconnections and supporting structures.
This standard applies to equipment with a nominal voltage greater than 750V and up to 46KV.
This standard does not apply to air insulated switchgear or gas-insulated switchgear that is cover by CSA C22.2 No. 31.
