Scope:

This document determines the fuel quality classes and specifications of graded non-woody briquettes. This 
document covers only non-woody briquettes produced from the following raw materials: 
—    Herbaceous biomass 
—    Fruit biomass 
—    Aquatic biomass 
—    Biomass blends and mixtures 

Project need:

This proposed New Edition is being developed at the request of stakeholders. It will provide the industry with specifications and classes of graded non-woody briquettes. This will meet the strategic needs of the following key interest; ensuring that the latest innovative/technology/safety features are available for users.
