Scope:

This purpose of this Standard is to provide requirements for the selection, use, handling, and filling of UN pressure receptacles, multiple-element gas containers, and other pressure receptacles for the transport of dangerous goods included in Class 2, gases.

Project need:

To develop a new edition of the B342 Selection and use of UN pressure receptacles, multiple-element gas containers, and other pressure receptacles for the transport of dangerous goods, Class 2. Standard that is updated with current regulations and codes. An updated Standard ensures a higher level of safety by updating the existing requirements and filling in the current gaps.
