The B620 series of TDG Standards applies to for highway tanks and portable tanks for the transportation of dangerous goods.  This Standards details requirements for the selection and use, handling, filling, and unloading of highway tanks, TC portable tanks, and other large containers when they are used as a primary means of containment for the transportation of dangerous goods

These Standards are a part of a series of Standards prepared for use in conjunction with the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations. Transport Canada adopts these Standards into their Regulations via Ambulatory Reference, meaning that when a new edition is publish the Standards are automatically adopted into regulation. CSA has had a long standing contract with Transport Canada to maintain / update the portfolio of CSA TDG Standards as required to meet regulatory need
