This Standard specifies requirements for security capabilities for IACS service providers that they can offer to the asset owner during integration and maintenance activities of an Automation Solution. The contents of the corrigendum of August 2015 have been included in this copy

This adoption is required to align Canadian standards with the American adoption of IEC 62443-2-4:2015. All of the IEC 62443 series of standards are being developed by ISA 99 committee in conjunction with IEC TC 65, and have been adopted or are being adopted as American National Standards
