Scope:

This Standard will focus on quality management, personnel qualification, and other aspects as a basis for a Quality Management System (QMS) within a health care setting for the purpose of providing safe, reliable kidney dialysis treatments. It is designed to be used with the CSA Z364 series of Standards and Canada adoptions of ISO standards addressing specific aspects of kidney dialysis. This new standard applies to health care settings or providers where kidney dialysis therapies occur.
