Scope:

The scope of this project will include the following:

•             Define a consistent set of quality assurance program requirements for the provision of items and services for nuclear power plants.

•             Use the technical content and format of the of the Bruce Power (BP) and Ontario Power Generation (OPG) Z299 Replacement Specifications developed through the COG joint project (JP4391) as  the seed documents for the new standard.

•             Consider additional detailed supplier feedback on content of the seed documents from the CSA scoping workshop.

This standard will only apply to existing power plants.

The scope of this project will be a series of four standards (for the four quality assurance program categories, equivalent to Z299.1–Z299.4) but would not include the selection and implementation guide (Z299.0 equivalent).
